DAPP Projects

This project which has just been completed was funded by European Commission and managed by Practical Action. It was improving the health and well-being of people living with HIV and AIDS in poor rural communities through strengthening the engagement and institutional development of organizations in the target districts. It reached 15 CSOs and 6,000 households for PLWHA (30, 000 people) in Kabwe and Kapiri-Mposhi Districts. Some key output results include: 130 Support Groups affiliated to the Project with 1,978 members; 621 people trained in positive living; 80 TB treatment supporters/ ART adherence supporters active in the programme; 38 Community AIDS Task Forces (CATFs) mobilised and trained.
