As we mark the 55th Earth Day Anniversary, this year’s theme "Our Power, Our Planet" calls for the power of collective action on renewable energy and environmental protection.
The yearly event calls for the power of collective actions from individuals, businesses, governments and organisations to join hands in protecting our planet.
At DAPP Zambia, we continue engaging smallholder farmers to implement conservation and regenerative agriculture that involves less tilling of the land, tree planting and protection of natural resources. We work with the traditional leadership and communities to protect the fragile ecosystems.
Our DAPP Clothes and Shoes project prolongs the lifespan of clothes and shoes and hereby contributes to reduced environmental degradation as well as reduced carbon footprint, reducing the main contributor to global warming.
We mobilise youths to spearhead clean-up actions in their communities and to promote the reuse and recycling of plastic. We train pupils in schools about the need for action to protect our earth.

- Adopt alternative energy
- Protect natural environments
- Stop littering, clean up communities
